Week in Review
Democrats are good at lying. Just look at how blacks and Hispanics believe Democrats care about them. When in fact they only tolerate them. They’re good to help win an election. But they don’t want anything to do with them. They don’t want to live next to them. Or vacation with them. About the closest they want to get to them is walking by them as they clean their hotel rooms. Or while working in the hot sun maintaining the landscaping of their favorite resorts (see Florida Democrat: Without Immigration Reform, Where Will We Get Our Landscapers and Maids? by Washington Free Beacon Staff posted 2/25/2014 on Washington Free Beacon).
Florida Democratic congressional candidate Alex Sink said immigration reform was important at a Tuesday debate because, without it, it would be difficult for employers to find people to clean hotel rooms and do landscaping.
“Immigration reform is important in our country,” she said. “We have a lot of employers over on the beaches that rely upon workers and especially in this high-growth environment, where are you going to get people to work to clean our hotel rooms or do our landscaping? We don’t need to put those employers in a position of hiring undocumented and illegal workers.”
And they sure don’t want any of their kind doing this work. For it’s beneath them. You see, Democrats belong to the American aristocracy. A group of people better than other Americans. Who should be in their proper place. In government. Living off the proceeds of those working in their economy. Much like the feudal lords in the Old World. When life was simpler. And people knew their places. With people like them not having to waste their time campaigning to win elections. Because power was just given to them based on their last name. Or political connection. The way it was in the Old World. And the way they believe it should be in the New World. But, alas, it’s not. So they have to win elections. And court people they’d rather have working on their manors. Or plantations. Doing what they’re good for. Serving them.

“Wait a tic. Blimey, this redistribution of wealth is trickier than I thought.”
Monty Python is a British comedy troupe. Starting off with a television show in 1969. And ending their run together with a movie in 1983. With some other stuff along the way. They became about the biggest stars ever in comedy. They redefined comedy. And have influenced some of the biggest names that followed them. Part of the reason why Monty Python is so funny is that they are so serious when being silly. And they are very well educated. With some members having degrees from Oxford and Cambridge. Which helps make their humor different. Such as their take on Robin Hood with a character they called Dennis Moore.
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
Galloping through the sward
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
And his horse Concorde
He steals from the rich
And gives to the poor
Mr. Moore, Mr. Moore, Mr. Moore
This is the opening verse of a song in the sketch Dennis Moore. The character steals from the rich who have more than they need. And gives it to the poor who don’t have enough. A classic example of redistribution of wealth. Something the American left is all about. Being Dennis Moore. Or Robin Hood. But in the sketch Dennis Moore takes it to the extreme. Stealing so much from those who were originally rich that they have nothing left but their underclothes. While those who were originally poor have everything the rich had. And the formerly poor (now rich) get ever more demanding of Mr. Moore for better stuff. As he rides off to please these formerly poor (now rich) we hear the following verse.
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
Riding through the land
Dennis Moore, Dennis Moore
Without a merry band
He steals from the poor
And gives to the rich
Dennis Moore halts his horse. And asks the chorus to repeat themselves. To make sure he heard what he thought he heard. They do. Mr. Moore then says, “Wait a tic. Blimey, this redistribution of wealth is trickier than I thought.” As he discovers some of the inherent flaws in the redistribution of wealth concept. Excessive redistribution can take large sums of money away from some. Which doesn’t help them. It only punishes them. And if you’re okay with punishing the rich to help the poor note what happens to the poor when they get the rich’s money. They become exactly like them.
Buying Votes to Win Elections works as long as you Tax the Few to Spend on the Many
This sketch is funny. Because it’s true. You’ve heard the expression “beggars can’t be choosey?” Well, when it comes to the redistribution of wealth, they can. And are. Choosey. They can become very demanding. And the more they get the more they want. And the more like the people they hate and envy—the wealthy—they get. Mr. Moore learned that. Where the poor he was trying to help with a hand-up didn’t use it for a hand-up. They just used the rich’s wealth to enjoy the good life without working and earning it over time.
People may look down on those born into money but that’s only because they weren’t. This is why poor people buy lottery tickets. To get rich quick. Because they don’t want to wait to have money. They’d like to have it when they’re young. And not wait until they’re old. After working 20 years or so. Which is why selling the idea of wealth redistribution is so easy. And helps politicians win elections. Because there are more poor people than rich people.
President Obama said those who could afford it should pay a little more. Taxes. To balance the playing field. To offer a ‘hand-up’ to the poor. This is the message of the Democrats. Tax and spend. Tax the rich. And give it to the poor. And the young. Such as free birth control, tuition assistance, Obamacare subsidies, etc. Things they tax the rich for. To get the poor to vote Democrat. It’s a working formula. Buying votes. As long as you tax the few to spend on the many. Because you need the many to win elections.
Obamacare won’t Work because the Welfare flows in the Wrong Direction
The welfare state taxes the few/rich/old to spend on the many/poor/young. Which is why it worked. You angered a smaller group of people than you pleased. And if you can keep doing that you can keep winning elections. As long as you keep playing Dennis Moore. Without being a stupid bitch. Which the Democrats did well. Until Obamacare. The Affordable Care Act.
Obamacare will fail because unlike other welfare programs Obamacare is unique. For it does not tax the few/rich/old. It actually taxes the many/poor/young. To pay for the health care of those who have more money than they do. The old and sick. Leaving the young and healthy with less money to start their families. As they help the old and sick who already had their families. And something just isn’t right with this picture. The old and sick are fine with it. While the young and healthy are calling someone ‘stupid bitch’. Figuratively, of course.
Young people don’t have a problem with tax and spend. As long as they are the recipients of those welfare transfers. So they vote Democrat. And they also vote Democrat because they are the opposite of their parents. Who never tell them they can’t do this or that. But, instead, tell them they should do whatever they feel like doing. Which they like. A lot. But the Affordable Care Act is a whole different animal. Where Democrats are being like parents. Telling the young Democrat voters that they can’t do everything they want to do. Because they’re forcing them to buy something they don’t want. Which isn’t their parents’ welfare program. From the few/rich/old to the many/poor/young. But more of a welfare program for their parents. Making it more difficult for the young Democrat voters to embrace Obamacare. Which is why they aren’t. And why the math won’t work for Obamacare. Because the welfare flows in the wrong direction.

There is no Greater Killer of Poverty than a Job-Creating Free Market Economy
A lot of people vote Democrat because of the perception that the Democrats are for the little guy. The working man. The poor. The disenfranchised. The sick. The maimed. Children. Women. Minorities. Gays. Lesbians. Etc. While Republicans are for rich white men, bankers, corporate executives, Wall Street investors, etc. Democrats care about people. While Republicans care about profits. Democrats good. Republicans bad. At least, that’s the common perception in much of America.
The working man. That’s who the Democrats are for. The working man. And what exactly does ‘the working man’ mean? It means men who are working. Obviously. (We’re using the term ‘working man’ because it’s long been part of the lexicon of the Democrat Party. But we include both men and women when using the expression ‘the working man’.) The Democrats champion unions to protect the working man. And to show their gratitude the unions put all their financial support behind Democrat candidates. So putting people into good jobs is a very important mission for the Democrat Party. At least that is the perception.
Jobs. They are important. For there is no greater killer of poverty than a job. Countries that have advanced free market economies have plenty of good-paying jobs. Where much of the populace lives well above poverty. Like in Chile. After Milton Friedman and the Chilean economists known as the ‘Chicago Boys’ ignited free market principles in Chile starting in 1973. Countries that don’t have advanced free market economies have few good-paying jobs. Where much of their populace lives in abject poverty. Such as in Haiti. And these prosperity/poverty levels impact more than just day-to-day life.
The United States has a High Standard of Living because of a Business-Friendly Environment
Chile suffered a magnitude 8.8 earthquake in 2011. One of the largest earthquakes ever to be recorded in history. It claimed approximately 525 lives. Haiti suffered a magnitude 7.0 earthquake in 2010. Less powerful than the Chilean earthquake. Yet the Haitian earthquake claimed approximately 220,000 lives. The difference between these two death tolls? More people have good-paying jobs in Chile than they do in Haiti. Giving Chile a more advanced free market economy. And better building codes and standards. Allowing them to survive a stronger earthquake with less loss of life.
This is what jobs give you. Working people have money to spend. And working people have money to pay taxes. Which can lift people out of poverty. And lift nations out of poverty. Which is why the United States has such a high standard of living. Their economy became the number one economy in the world because they had so many jobs. Thanks to a very business-friendly environment. The Americans encouraged entrepreneurship. And supported it with a sound banking system that encouraged capital formation. Thanks to all those workers saving some of their earnings for the future. Savings that provided the capital that built America.
So jobs are good. And providing jobs for the working man is even better. Because that’s what a working man wants. A job. So the Democrats, then, should be all about job creation. If they are for the working man. As is the perception. But is this perception correct? Well, if you determine that by the number of jobs they’ve created, no.
The Obama Policies are Business Unfriendly to Keep People Poor so the Democrats have Someone to Champion
Before George W. Bush became president in 2001 there were 210,743,000 in the civilian non-institutional population (see Employment Situation Archived News Releases). Basically those who could have a job. Of those who could have a job there were 141,489,000 in the civilian labor force. By the time Bush left office there were 154,587,000 in the civilian labor force. An increase of 13,098,000 to the civilian labor force. Which is an increase of 1,637,240 annually. Or 136,438 monthly. So this is what a Republican did for the working man. Now let’s see what a Democrat did.
Before Barack Obama became president in 2009 there were 154,687,000 in the civilian labor force. At the end of March 2013 there were 155,028,000 in the civilian labor force. An increase of 441,000. Which is an increase of 103,765 annually. Or 8,647 monthly. The Bush economy created more jobs in a month that the Obama economy created in a year. In fact, for every job the Obama economy created the Bush economy created 15.8 jobs. So if you determine who is for the working many by who gives the working man more of what he wants, jobs, it is clear that the Republican is for the working man. Not the Democrat.
No, President Obama’s economic policies are not business-friendly. They are decidedly unfriendly to business. Even punitive. Which is why there has been no real job creation with the Obama economic policies. Wall Street may be doing well. The stock market may be doing well. But the working man sure isn’t. In fact, those who are doing well in the Obama economy are rich white men, bankers, corporate executives, Wall Street investors, etc. So if the Democrats are not for the working man who are they for? Poor people. In fact, they love poor people so much that they work hard at keeping them poor. Giving them a meager government handout instead of a job. Which is how they win elections. By giving poor people free stuff. And if the poor ever stopped being poor the Democrats would have trouble winning elections. Which is why the Obama economic policies are so business unfriendly. So there are always poor and impoverished people they can champion.

The Founding Fathers were Gentlemen of the Enlightenment with Sound Philosophical Beliefs
Politicians have to win elections. They have to persuade and convince people to vote for them. Once upon a time that meant vigorous debate where candidates explained why their way was the better way. Going right back to the Founding. Where Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson bitterly contested each other’s vision for the country. And the debate often got dirty. Such as when Hamilton’s political enemies exposed his extramarital affair with the con-woman Mrs. Reynolds who seduced Hamilton with the purpose of blackmailing him. Who wanted to use this information to say he was involved in a bigger scheme with Mr. Reynolds in defrauding the federal government.
Treasury Secretary Hamilton met three gentlemen of the political opposition in private. Admitting to his affair. And proved beyond a shadow of doubt that all money paid to the blackmailers came from Hamilton’s private funds. Not a penny came from the Treasury Department. According to 18th century gentlemanly behavior the matter was closed. The affair was a personal matter. It would be imprudent to make it a public issue. But upon Hamilton’s retirement a bitter political enemy leaked this information to a scandalmonger. James Callender. Who wrote a book exposing this private matter. The History of the United States for the Year 1796. Jefferson had helped to finance Callender. And reveled in Hamilton’s scandal. But when you lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas. And Jefferson did. For Callender published articles confirming rumors that Jefferson had fathered children with his slave Sally Hemings.
Politics then were just as dirty as they are today. And often crossed the line. But underneath all the scandals and mudslinging there were philosophical principles. They did these things for principle. For they feared the opposition and what their policies would do the fledgling nation. There was political patronage and political corruption. But above that was a battle of competing political ideology. Waged by men well read in history. Familiar with John Locke. And Charles-Louis de Secondat, baron de La Brède et de Montesquieu. Icons of the Enlightenment. Whose philosophies can be found in the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. These Founding Fathers were rich propertied men. Established in their careers. Who had little left to prove. These gentlemen of the Enlightenment did what they did not for money or political favor. So they could live a more comfortable life. They did these things out of principle. Based on sound philosophical beliefs.
The Democrats try to Scare the Bejesus out of People to Get and Keep the Republicans out of Office
It’s not like that anymore. Instead of rich successful people entering politics for selfless reasons people of no accomplishments enter politics to become rich and powerful. Who have no principles. Who will buy and sell anyone to remain in power. Of course they don’t campaign by saying this. Instead, their campaigns are based on hopes and fears. And the telling a lot of lies. With little principle. Or sound philosophical beliefs.
In 2008 President Obama campaigned on hope and change. To get away from the partisan politics of the past. Democrats continue to peddle hope. Health care for everyone. College degrees for everyone. High-paying green jobs and energy independence. A return of manufacturing jobs. Spending our way out of recession with Keynesian stimulus spending. A bigger social safety net. Talking to our enemies instead of going to war with them. And making them like us by resolving all of our differences with diplomacy. That we can have whatever we want. If only we got the Republicans out of office.
While at the same time the Democrats try to scare the bejesus out of people if we don’t get and keep the Republicans out of office. For the Republicans want to take away birth control and abortion from women. And keep them from being independent and having careers. The poor will remain poor. The rich will get richer. And the hungry will die. Slavery will be reinstituted. The Republicans will tax the middle class more so they can give tax breaks to rich corporations. They will burden the nation with massive deficits with their tax cuts for the rich. Global warming will continue unchecked. Our drinking water will be polluted. And our atmosphere will become poisonous to breathe. All because Republicans put profit before people.
The Left tells a lot of Lies to Win Elections because all they have are Failed Keynesian Economic Policies
Republicans, on the other hand, peddle the hope that we can return to the prosperity of Ronald Reagan. By cutting tax rates. For throughout U.S. history whenever the government cut tax rates prosperity followed. As well as flooded the treasury with tax dollars. For contrary to the fear peddling of the Democrats cuts in tax rates have historically increased tax revenue. And can again. As Ronald Reagan campaigned in 1984, it can be Morning in America again. We can be prouder, stronger and better.
While at the same time Republicans like to scare people with national security issues. The Clinton administration handled terrorist attacks against America in the courts. Which emboldened America’s enemies into an escalation of attacks resulting in 9/11. The one in 2001. Not the attack in 2012 on the U.S consulate in Benghazi. While the Democrats believe our enemies hate us because George W. Bush made them hate us with his cowboy swaggering ways. And that was the only reason. Even though Bush had little time to swagger before the attacks on 9/11. Those in 2001. Not the ones in 2012. The Republicans say our enemies hate us for who we are. As we are too Christian. And allow our women to have careers and use birth control and abortion. Something our enemies won’t allow their women to have.
President Obama did not end partisan politics. He lied about that. For his administration has been perhaps the most partisan in U.S. history. With no interest whatsoever in compromise. He and the Democrats continue to lie about the Reagan tax cuts. And the Bush tax cuts. Blaming tax cuts for all our woes. And our deficits. Despite those tax cuts increasing tax revenue. They lied about a war on women. Having one of their cronies in the mainstream media create it by asking Mitt Romney if he wanted to take away women’s birth control. And they continuously spread the lie that the rich aren’t paying their fair share in taxes. When the top 10% of income earners pay about 70% of all federal income taxes.
So the Left tells a lot of lies to win elections. Because that’s all they have. They do not have a Morning in America they can talk about. Just failed Keynesian economic policies. Like the 4 years of Jimmy Carter. The 4 years of President Obama. And what may have been the 4 years of Bill Clinton had it not been for the Republicans taking control of Congress 2 years into his presidency. Of course the Republicans can tell a lie, too. The big one being their claim of being conservative like Ronald Reagan. As they too often fall for the lies coming from the Left. And appear more interested in living a comfortable life than sound philosophical beliefs.

Week in Review
Here are two sad stories in one. Another senseless death due to stupid behavior of our young. And how the NHS let this kid die from his stupid behavior (see Student, 18, ‘downed a bottle of rum in 15 MINUTES for a bet before falling to his death down a flight of stairs’ by Emily Andrews and Ben Spencer posted 10/11/2012 on the Daily Mail).
Timothy Jarvis, 18, was in the first week of his maths degree when he downed an entire bottle of rum in 15 minutes for a bet.
The former grammar school boy then suffered fatal head injuries after tumbling down a flight of stairs at his university’s hall of residence.
Despite being taken to hospital, it was 90 minutes before he was assessed by a doctor and he died the next day.
How many of us did something as stupid as this in our youth? Only we were lucky enough not to have killed ourselves? And I stress the word ‘lucky’. Binge drinking. This is poor decision making. Poor understanding of the consequences of our actions. And a poor understanding of what’s important in life. This student had a promising future. He was not in university taking the easy courses just to party. He was taking one of the hard degrees. Who knows what he would have contributed to make the world a better place. What a senseless waste.
As a side note, these are the people that often swing elections. The youth vote. Who have a propensity for poor decision making. That’s why in most of the United States we don’t let these kids drink until after they turn 21. Put severe limits on them when they start driving. And charge them the highest car insurance rates. Because of their consistent poor decision making. Yet when they walk into the voting booth the Left would have us believe that they are the wisest and the most responsible people in the world. Because they vote for the party of birth control and abortion. And the party that is more inclined to decriminalize marijuana. Everything a growing young person wants to make life as fun as possible. While discarding the possible consequences of their actions. But doing things their parents warn them not to do often comes with consequences. While their votes often saddle the nation with the consequences of their foolish actions inside the voting booth. For the majority of people have issues that are more important to them than birth control, abortion and marijuana.
When paramedics arrived and found Mr Jarvis unconscious, they made a ‘red alert’ call to Colchester Hospital to warn them to expect a serious case.
But when they arrived at 12.35am, there was no trauma team to meet them, Mr Jarvis was left on a trolley in a corridor and was not assessed by a doctor for nearly 90 minutes.
NHS guidelines say every patient should be examined by a nurse within 15 minutes and by a doctor within an hour.
Imagine that. A hospital with an emergency department without a trauma team standing ready. If you’re wondering what the future of Obamacare is here it is. Cost cutting, long wait times and service rationing that leaves an emergency department at a hospital without a trauma team at the ready. And who helped pass Obamacare into law? That’s right. The youth vote. Who voted for Barack Obama in droves. Yet another example of poor decision making. That the rest of us will have to live with the consequences of their actions.
If we have age restrictions on drinking because the young are just not mature enough to drink at such a young age perhaps we should have an age restriction on voting. Letting young people vote only after they are mature enough to understand how to drink responsibly. Unless they’re serving in the military. Which should be the only exception due to their service to the country. And the incredible amount of discipline they acquire through their military training.

The Democrats like to Tax and Spend but their own Job-Killing Policies make this Hard to Do
The key of the Democrat Party platform is ignorance. If it wasn’t for ignorance they couldn’t win elections today. For their policies have been failures. We’ve debunked Keynesian economics stimulus spending in the Seventies. Their spending did not stimulate economic activity. They only added high inflation onto high unemployment. Creating the stagflation of the Seventies and the high misery index (inflation rate added to the unemployment rate).
And their high marginal tax rates did not produce more tax revenue. Because high tax rates have never encouraged economic activity. Even those on the Left admit raising taxes during a recession is not a good thing. And high tax rates don’t generate any new tax revenue when they cause overall economic activity to decline. For we need both a tax rate and economic activity to generate tax revenue. And having one without the other just isn’t going to do the job.
The Democrats like to tax and spend. But their own policies make this hard to do. Because their policies kill jobs. And because they kill jobs they reduce tax revenue. Fewer jobs and fewer people paying taxes (the unemployed don’t pay taxes) create a problem for tax and spend Democrats. So they turn to increasing tax rates on the fewer remaining people who pay taxes. Which is a difficult thing to do when you have to win elections. Unless you lie.
The Top 10% of Income Earners Consistently Pay about 70% of all Federal Income Taxes
To win elections when your policies hurt the economy you need to transform the country. You need to get a large percentage of the people dependent on government benefits. While at the same time you need to change the tax code so these same people don’t pay any income taxes. You do this and you make a very loyal constituency. Who will always vote to raise other people’s taxes to increase their own benefits. Of course, raising tax rates is not always easy. So they have to add one more thing to the mix. Class warfare.
Class warfare demonizes anyone who opposes these tax and spend policies. By perpetuating a lie. That the ‘rich’ don’t pay their fair share of taxes. But when you look at the actual numbers, you find it is those who are NOT ‘rich’ that don’t pay their fair share (source: National Taxpayers Union).
The top 10% of income earners consistently pay about 70% of all federal income taxes. While the bottom 50% pay less than 5% of all federal income taxes. Falling as low as 2.25% of the tax total in 2009. In 2009 those in the top 10% included everyone who earned $112,124 or more. Which is interesting as we consider the rich to be like those movie stars earning on average of $30 million a year. Not small business owners whose business earnings fall directly to their personal income tax returns. Not everyone in this 10% are small business owners. For it also includes those super rich movie stars. But most small business owners fall in the top 10%. And they as a group hire more people than any other business. This is why higher taxes kill jobs.
Public Education is in the Shape it is because it is Easier to Lie to the Ignorant
Assume a small business owner earns $200,000 in his or her business. Putting them in the top 10%. Based on the 2012 federal tax rates for a married couple filing jointly the federal income tax due is about $42,060. Assuming state and city income taxes equal this federal tax amount leaves $115,881 after taxes for the small business owner to support his or her family. And to invest in their business. If this couple lives on $80,000 (which is only 0.267% of the income of the super rich movie star) this leaves only about $35,881 to invest into the business. Which won’t even cover the cost of one new full-time employee’s wages, benefits and taxes. Increasing taxes on this ‘rich’ 10% will leave even less money for small business owners to hire new employees. Which is why increasing taxes on this 10% kills jobs.
This is, of course, why small business owners typically vote Republican. Because the tax and spend policies of the Democrats hurt them very much. Preventing them from hiring new employees. And expanding their businesses. Which is why the Democrats try to get as many people as possible collecting government benefits while paying no federal income taxes. Because their policies have lost them the small business owners’ vote. As well as those who work hard and don’t collect government benefits. For if you work hard and pay taxes you’re not likely to vote to increase your own taxes. However if you don’t pay taxes you probably will have no problem voting to raise taxes on those who do.
So this is why Democrats resort to class warfare. And lie. It’s all they have. Which explains why public education is in the shape it is. Because it is easier to lie to the ignorant. Which is why public education emphasizes the evils of capitalism and the horrors of global warming. Because teaching our students history and economics makes the lie harder to tell. So they don’t. Instead they teach them to become good Democrat voters. Who believe the lie of class warfare. That the top 10% of income earners who consistently pay about 70% of all federal income taxes don’t pay their fair share.

Voters are so Greedy and Selfish with their Hard-Earned Money that they’re not going to Vote to be Subjugated
History is strewn with people oppressing others to gain privilege for themselves. Kings, emperors and nobles were always a small minority of civilizations. But they had the power. And the wealth. While the masses suffered abject poverty and went hungry. Or suffered through famines. And died. With early civilizations this was just the way of life. Because there was no middle class. No free market capitalism. And no rule of law. Life was for the most part subsistence farming. Where most ate only what they grew. While the kings, emperors and nobles enjoyed lots of food and drink. Even enjoyed having a little fun. Unlike the impoverished masses. Having privilege made life better. Which is why the privileged worked hard to keep it. By forcing others to work hard to provide that better life for them.
But times change. Privileged ruling classes fall. And middle classes rise. Creating vibrant economies. And representative government. Then one day the privileged find that they are no longer privileged. That wealth isn’t automatically theirs. Instead it belongs to the people who earn that wealth. And if the once-privileged want wealth then they, too, have to work to get it. So they, too, can have nice things. And that they can only have these things if they earned enough to afford them. Which is a great problem if you don’t want to work. Don’t have any ability to earn a high income. Or if you have a feeling of entitlement. Like in days of yore. Where you didn’t need anything but a good last name to live the good life. On the backs of those who didn’t live the good life.
Feelings of entitlement don’t die, though. They don’t go away once the middle class starts sharing the wealth. Well, not so much sharing it but earning it. And keeping it. Instead of giving it to a privileged ruling class. Which poses a problem for those who aspire to join a ruling class. Especially now that we have those pesky elections. Because voters are so greedy and selfish with their hard-earned money that they’re not going to vote to be subjugated. They’re not going to vote in a privileged ruling class so they can live like royalty. While those who pay for that royal lifestyle don’t. ‘Vote for me so I can live better than you’ is just not a winning political platform. So that’s why politicians lie.
The Privileged Elite uses Class Warfare to take other People’s Wealth
What do you need to live a privileged life? Lots of money. No secret here. But the secret is how to get that money. In particular, how do those who don’t want to work or have no talent or have no ability create wealth? Here’s the secret. They don’t create wealth. They take wealth. By going into government.
Only government has the power to tax. Which can be a great source of wealth. Other people’s wealth. Which is any privileged class’ second favorite kind of wealth. Second only to the wealth they already took from others. Because that’s what they want. Other people’s wealth. And they’ve found a clever way of taking it. By making the world a fairer place. And who’s against fairness? They’re going to make sure that the poor and children have access to food and affordable housing. And who’s against the poor? The children? You’d have to be a pretty vicious, heartless bastard to be against the children. And the poor. They’re going to make sure that women have access to reproductive health care. For who hates women? I’ll tell you who. Anyone that opposes raising taxes. They hate women. Children. The poor. For the world is full of haters. And just who are these haters? Aanyone that earns a lot of money and doesn’t want to pay higher taxes. These people hate anyone not as wealthy as they are. Because they hate fairness. And paying their fair share. Because they’re greedy. And hate women and children. And puppies, too.
This is the way the privileged take other people’s wealth. Class warfare. And it’s very effective. By being the party of the poor, disadvantaged, children, women and puppies, they’re kind and benevolent. With other people’s money, of course. But those people are evil so it’s okay. People hate them. But they like their kind government benefactors. Who are looking out for their best interests. Not rich people. Or corporate profits. No, our kind government benefactors make sure those greedy rich people and corporations pay their fair share. Because that’s all that they want. It’s all anyone wants. To be fair.
North Korea is pretty much at the End of the Fairness Road
Later incarnations of the privileged ruling class used the fairness approach to give themselves a better life. While oppressing their people. Even killing them. Through famine. Or deliberate acts of violence. All in the name of fairness. And nothing better epitomizes this than communism. Where everyone was equal. Brothers. Comrades. There were no profits. No capitalism. No competitiveness. No. Everyone was equal. They paid everyone the same. They dressed everyone the same. They housed everyone the same. They fed everyone the same. Very little. For one thing you never saw in a communist country was obesity. Instead you probably heard the rumbling of tummies as most people were hungry all of the time. There was no income inequality. No gender inequality. No. In communism they had nothing but equality. Life was fair. Because no one had anything more than anyone else. As they perfectly distributed the misery and poverty equally among the impoverished masses.
That was for the masses. It was quite a different thing for the privileged ruling elite. Those in the party apparatchik. And the inner party members themselves. Who were more equal than others. These people dressed better. They had better housing. Even cars. They ate better. Some so well that they grew obese. North Korea suffers from recurring famines to this day but Kim Jong IL had a bit of a weight problem. As his son does. Kim Jong-un. No, life is very good for the privileged ruling elite. And hell for those living under them. Who the ruling elite let die of hunger. And send to concentration camps if they dare speak of their displeasure. For only under communism is life fair. And they just can’t risk the unhappy masses to spoil it for the privileged few.
North Korea is pretty much at the end of the fairness road. The country is so poor and impoverished and hungry that people will risk their lives to try and escape this land of fairness. To get somewhere that isn’t so fair. Like South Korea. Where they have capitalism. And inequality. Where someone can come with nothing, work hard and earn a better life. Allowing them to pay for housing. And put food in their rumbling bellies. For a fair and oppressive government surely cannot. All they can do is create great inequality between the people and the ruling class. Far greater than that between the rich and poor in any capitalist country. For the poor in countries like the UK, Canada and the United States are living far better than anyone outside the ruling elite in North Korea. This is where the fairness road ends. But it starts with class warfare. Where a privileged few live the good life through high taxes. Taxes they use to force fairness on others. While those at the top manage that fairness. Skimming a lot off the top of those taxes for themselves. And what’s left they spend on the poor, disadvantaged, children, women and puppies. Just enough to make sure the people love their very rich and wealthy government benefactors. So they can win the next election. At least while they still have to deal with those pesky elections.

The Civil War feminized Men and gave us the Nanny State and the Progressive Movement
In all some 2-3 million men left their homes to fight in the Civil War. Leaving mothers to raise their children on their own. With Christian love and nurturing. Especially the boys. Whose fathers their mothers dearly missed. And lived in fear that they would fall in battle. So they smothered these boys with love and affection. Made them feel special. The center of the world. The Civil War would claim some 630,000 lives. A lot of them young fathers. Who left their sons no father. Only a loving and doting mother to raise them. A mother who hated war. And despised manly displays of aggression that led to that god-awful war. Something they would protect their boys from. Instead filling them with kindness and sensitivity. Teaching them not to meet aggression with aggression. But with understanding. Empathy. Kindness. And if someone strikes them to simply turn the other cheek. Like the good Christians they were. Because manly displays of behavior led to nothing but trouble. And war.
The Republicans won the Civil War. And freed the slaves from their Democrat masters. Giving them the franchise to vote. And they, of course, voted for their liberators. The Republican Party. Anxious to keep this vast new Republican voting bloc voting for them the Republicans quickly passed the Fifteenth Amendment (1869), giving the freed slaves the Constitutional right to vote. Forever. And they did. While the Union Army was still in the South after the Civil War to enforce the peace. And protect the newly freed black population. But after Custer’s Last Stand where the Sioux and Cheyenne decimated Custer’s army, that army was needed out West. And when it left the South so did the security of black Republican voters. So they stopped voting. And the Democrats restored things the way they were before the war. Only without the institution of slavery.
So the Civil War provided a couple of powerful lessons. First of all, if a war kills enough men their sons will grow up feminized. Taking on some characteristics of the fairer sex. And shunning their more masculine traits. Also, enfranchising a large group of the population can help you win elections. These two lessons came together in the Progressive movement the late 19th and early 20th century. When these fatherless sons grew up and entered politics. And changed the nature of government. No longer the limited government of our Founding Fathers. But a larger and more active government to mother us. A lesson Woodward Wilson was slow to learn. As he opposed women’s suffrage until protesters made him change his mind. Which may have played a part in the Progressives losing the 1920 election. The Nineteenth Amendment being ratified just months before the elections. Lucky for us he was slow in changing his mind. For had he embraced women’s suffrage his party may have been rewarded at the polls by a lot of happy women. Instead they voted for a Return to Normalcy with Warren G. Harding. Who followed the advice of Andrew Mellon and cut taxes. Igniting economic activity. Giving us one of the greatest decades in U.S. history. The Roaring Twenties. Where limited government and free market capitalism modernized the world. But it wouldn’t last. For the heavy hand of government interfered with those free markets by the end of the decade. Giving us the Great Depression.
As Women Empowered themselves with the Birth Control Pill they made Men Very, Very Happy
FDR exploded the size of government with his New Deal. It was not JFK’s “Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.” Instead it was what can our new big-ass government do for you? How can we now mother you? And how can we get you to vote for us? So we can continue our orgy of spending. And the women’s vote no doubt helped. Many of who were mothers. With mothering instincts. Who wanted to help and take care of people. Who endorsed FDR’s policies. The product of those feminized Progressive men. Who worked diligently to change limited government into the nanny state. To fill government with understanding. Empathy. And kindness. Creating a new aristocratic class in the process. Allowing these feminized men to achieve great levels of power and wealth. Doing whatever they want. Because they felt special. The center of the world. And superior.
The New Deal programs failed to pull the country out of the Great Depression. World War II came around to do that. Causing another generation to suffer through another horrible war. This time putting some 13 million Americans into uniform. Leaving a lot of mothers to raise their children. Alone. Raising them with a nurturing Christian love. Especially their sons. Whose fathers their mothers dearly missed. And lived in fear that they would fall in battle. So they smothered their sons with love and affection. Made them feel special. The center of the world. To ease the fear and dread of the war. Which killed some 400,000. And wounded a million more. A lot of them young fathers. Leaving more sons with no father in their lives. Only a mother who hated war. And would raise their sons to hate war, too. To love, instead, peace. To be filled with feelings of kindness and sensitivity. And to resist their manly urges. Feminizing another generation of men.
These men came of age in the Sixties. Who said “Make love, not war.” And did. Like their mothers taught them. Well, sort of. It was the age of free love. The sexual revolution. Where men had a lot of sex with lots of different women. And when they weren’t having sex they were attacking the establishment. Protesting the Vietnam War. Capitalism. Old white men. Rich people. Religion. Pretty much anyone. And anything. Filled with rage because they grew up without a daddy. Blaming the world for that. (Don’t think so? Listen to Pink Floyd’s The Wall for a real life example as Roger Waters wrote about growing up without a daddy). Filled with hate. Unable to love. So they just had sex. Lots and lots of sex. With a lot of ready and willing sex partners. Because women in those days weren’t getting married anymore to raise a family. They were empowering themselves. Using the new birth control pill to plan when they were going to have a family. Making these men they were having sex with very, very happy.
Liberals encourage Women to Empower themselves and Explore their Sexuality as long as these Women are not their Daughters
The radicals of the Sixties went on to become university professors in the Seventies. Continuing their antiestablishment and anti-capitalism ways. Putting up pictures of Che Guevara up in their classrooms. Preaching socialism. And communism. Teaching political science and journalism and prelaw students how horrible America was. Itemizing every sin. But glossing over every achievement. Attacking religion and morality. Saying, “Who’s to say what’s right or wrong?” Encouraging more government spending. And more government control of the private sector. To make America the socialist paradise they sang about in the Sixties. While high. And to legalize the drugs they used to get high in the Sixties. Attacking men for marrying women. Making them nothing more than cooks and housekeepers. And whores in the bedroom. Encouraging women to burn their bras and have more consequence-free sex. Which these university professors enjoyed during the Seventies. Getting high and having sex with their students. Doing whatever they want. Because they felt special. The center of the world. And superior.
Life was a party in the Seventies. And we paid dearly for it. All our major cites became crime ridden. Drug use soared. Violent crime increased. Including assaults on women. For we were honoring and cherishing women far less in the Seventies than we used to. Casual sex was in. Making women just sex partners. Again, something the men were really enjoying. Especially those feminized men that went on into politics. Who became liberal Democrats. And feminists. Protectors of women. A handy title. For it made the women look the other way every time these men cheated on their wives. Or were caught in some sex scandal. They were really enjoying life. These men. Running the government in the Seventies. And controlling the news networks. The old-boys club was never better. But then the economy had to go into the toilet. And the people finally said enough. They voted for Ronald Reagan. A conservative. Who represented about 40% of the population. And declared the nanny-state of liberalism a failure. An ideology held by only 20% (approximately) of the population002E
Of course, the liberals weren’t just going to give up their privileged life. Controlling all of that tax money. And having whatever they wanted. Including all that fun with young women. They had to come up with some way to get a lot of people who did not agree with their ideology to vote for them. Or who simply didn’t understand their ideology. So they courted the youth vote. Whose interests rarely went beyond the satisfying of their selfish desires. Those they could so enamor in college. By being cool. What with these liberals being so unlike these kids’ parents. Who said that there is nothing wrong with using drugs. Or having casual sex with someone’s daughter. The two things college students can really enjoy. Especially the sex. Which the liberals provided for them. By exploiting these young women. Showering them with birth control. Even access to abortion. Making a woman’s self-worth based on her attractiveness to men. Or on her ability to sexually satisfy men. They encourage women to think the sexier they were the better and more popular they would be. And the happier they would be. Encouraging them to have fun on spring break. So what if they end up on some DVD having sexually explicit fun? As long as they had fun. And vote Democrat. Because it’s the Democrats who make sure these young women can have fun. And feel good about themselves. By encouraging them to be sex objects for men to enjoy. Especially those old men in politics. The feminists. Who say things like they admire the women’s movement. Especially from behind. They encourage these women to ’empower’ themselves and explore their sexuality. With them. For fun. Their self-worth. And their vote. And these men don’t care what happens to them once they do. As long as, of course, they’re not their own daughters.

Liberals lie because only about 20% of the People are Liberal Democrats
Politicians lie. On both sides of the aisle. Democrats lie because they always want to raise our taxes. And campaigning to raise your taxes just doesn’t win a lot of votes. So they lie. Republicans lie, too. Especially those that want to act like Democrats. And join the Washington elite where you go to the best of parties and rub shoulders with the best of A-list celebrities.
So that’s why politicians lie. To fool you into voting for them. So they can live a far, far better life than you can ever imagine. Some have grown pretty adept at it. In particular liberal Democrats. Who have taken the lie and elevated it to pure party propaganda. Again, because they have too. With only about 20% of the people being liberal Democrats, there aren’t enough people out there buying what they’re selling. So they have to lie about what they’re selling.
And what, exactly, are they selling? Privilege. For themselves. And their friends. Which they give themselves after winning elections. Power, control and money. The usual things a privileged class covets. Like in the good old days. In the Old World. Where a good last name set you apart from the rabble. And let you live the good life without working.
The more Wretched and Impoverished the Poor get the Better it is for Big Government
Today’s aristocracy is Big Government. For those in it have power, control and money. Just like a Baron in medieval Europe. Except for one thing. This nobility never has to put on armor and mount his steed and fight for the king. So it’s even better. Of course, in the Old World, there were oaths of fealty. The price of privilege was the possibility of fighting, even dying, for your king. A liberal Democrat has no such thing to fear. Hell, they can break the law even and nine times out of ten they’ll get away with it. Because their kind takes care of their own. And doesn’t let a little thing like the law get in the way of their good life.
So how does one get to live better than everyone else? Even being above the law at times? Simple. You champion the little guy. The poor. The downtrodden. Those at the bottom of the ladder. You take care of these people. At least, you say you are. By expanding the size of government to, say, alleviate poverty. Then you raise taxes and expand government again and again. And again. And because you do this with the best of intentions no one ever points out that everything you’ve done has failed. There’s still poverty. In fact, it seems that every year more people are living below the poverty line. At least according to government statistics. Or should I say Big Government statistics? Convenient, yes? A little of putting the fox in charge of the henhouse, isn’t it?
Of course, that’s the plan. Because if you got rid of poverty you’d put Big Government out of a job. I mean, if everyone was living happily ever what would you need them for? Happiness is not good for Big Government. That’s right, the more wretched and impoverished the poor get the better it is for government programs that ‘care’ for them. And spend more money on them. Which means more taxes, more control and more positions within the new aristocracy for more of their own.
JFK and Ronald Reagan were both Tax-Cutting Supply-Siders
To keep raising taxes and to keep creating new government programs you have to demonize tax cuts and limited government. Which is important because history has shown that everyone lives better with lower taxes and a more limited government. Except, of course, the new aristocracy.
Liberals refer to the Kennedy White House as Camelot. They absolutely loved JFK. But they carefully guard his legacy. Why? JFK was a tax-cutter. He believed in supply-side economics. What the liberal Democrats dismiss snidely as trickle-down economics. But Kennedy’s tax cuts worked. They caused an economic boom. Which the Left is very hush-hush about. Because they can’t have their hero known as a tax-cutter. But they have no problem belittling another Kennedy-esque tax-cutter. Ronald Reagan.
Reagan cut the top marginal tax rate. The Big Government liberals called him mad. Out of touch. Said he hated the poor. And wanted to starve government programs ‘vital’ for the poor while rewarding rich people. But like Kennedy, his cut in the tax rates caused an economic boom. And tax receipts (tax money collected by the IRS) nearly doubled. None of which was supposed to happen according to the liberals. So they lied about it. Said, “yes, there was increased economic activity, but at what cost? Ronald Reagan’s tax cuts gave us huge deficits that exploded the federal debt.” Yes, there were huge deficits. But that’s beside the point. The cut in the top marginal rate nearly doubled tax receipts. That’s the key point. The Reagan tax cuts worked. The government just spent this new tax revenue faster than they could collect it.
Liberals are such Good Liars that few know the Successful Track Record of Tax Cuts
Cuts in tax rates have a successful track record. That’s fact. The Republicans could run on this truth. But they do such a pathetic job in telling the truth that no one knows about this successful track record. The liberal democrats, on the other hand, lie through their teeth about this record. And they’re so good at lying that it’s what most people believe. Tax cuts explode the deficit. Grow the debt. Take money away from the poor. Gives it to the rich. While the poor and downtrodden wait for all that wealth to trickle down to them. But it never comes. All lies. But told so well that it’s what most people believe.
JFK was a tax cutter. A lot like Ronald Reagan. There were others. And they all proved that tax cuts increase economic activity. Which is always good. Because more economic activity means more jobs. And more tax receipts. Which is bad for a caring and nurturing Big Government. Because if free market capitalism can do this then there is no need for Big Government. And this is something the new aristocracy just can’t have.

The Fewer in the Minority Ruling Power the Richer Each will Be
Not everyone can live like nobility. Those privileged few who have more than the masses. Throughout history it’s always been an elite few in power. A minority rule over the masses. Why? Because the masses can only support a select few in a life of plush luxury.
Let’s do a simple exercise. Take a group of 10 people. Let’s assume they each earn $30,000. Not a lot. It’s enough to get by on but they’re not going to enjoy many luxuries in life. Now let’s assume one of the ten assumes all power. Promotes himself to king. Or herself to queen. Doesn’t work anymore. And taxes everyone’s earnings at 35% to support the royal family. That leaves only 9 people working. Each now has only $19,500 after taxes to live on. While the royal family enjoys $94,500. Which is 485% more. And it’s tax free. Because the king is the taxman, too. Pretty sweet, eh?
It’s good to be in the royal family, yes? You bet. But let’s see what happens if more people join the royal family from the kingdom of 10. As summarized in the following table:
As the number of people working decreases and the number of those not working increases, the money per Royal eventually drops below that of the subjects. So what do we learn from this little exercise? The fewer in the minority ruling power the richer each will be. Ergo the ruling elite must be a small minority.
Kids are Taught that Free Market Capitalism is Killing the Planet and the Polar Bears
This is politics. And it’s been this way since the dawn of civilization. In the days of kings minority rule was relatively easy. But it’s been more difficult since the advent of representative government. Because you just can’t rule by decree. You have to win elections. By getting the people to vote ‘yes’ to working harder. And paying more taxes. So those not working can live a plush life of luxury.
Of course you can’t say things like this and expect to win elections. You have to parse the truth a little. And by ‘parse’ I mean lie. You make up a bunch of stuff that sounds important and worthy of doing. Such as saving the environment. And battling global warming. All of which takes a bigger government to regulate the economy to save the planet. And a lot of taxes to pay for this government. So how do you do this? By scaring children in public school.
The earth has warmed and cooled long before man ever put carbon in the atmosphere. Glaciers have moved thousands of miles before man ever burned coal or created the internal combustion engine. Oceans have risen and fallen long before Al Gore moved into his oceanfront mansion. No matter. For the ‘scientists’ at East Anglia have massaged the data to get the political results they set out to get. And they say it’s now a fact that man is killing the planet. So a world government must take over the world’s economies. To save the planet. So a select few can live a plush life of luxury courtesy of the labors of others. Like Al Gore. But you don’t tell children this. No. Instead you show them pictures of polar bears in ‘danger of drowning’ because they’re swimming in water. Which they are wont to do. In search of their food. No matter. Man is melting the polar icecaps. So the kiddies are upset. Because free market capitalism is killing the planet. And the polar bears.
The Goal of the Department of Education is to make Good Democrat Voters
We constantly have to spend more money on public education to make our kids smarter. Which must mean our kids graduating from public education aren’t very smart. But they do know that free market capitalism is killing the planet. And that global warming is melting the polar ice caps and killing the polar bears. So they’re learning something. Just nothing that will improve their test scores to the level of the Asians or the Indians.
Interestingly, this decline in American education coincided with the rise of the Department of Education starting in 1979. Before then the U.S. led the world in math, science and engineering. Because our kids were smarter than kids everywhere else. But then the great dumbing down began. Multiculturalism. Diversity. Outcomes-based education. Emphasizing the importance of not making anyone feel bad. Rather than emphasizing the virtue of excelling. And, of course, indoctrinating them into global warming. Instead of learning math, science, engineering and capitalism, the social sciences took over the curriculum. And one fake science. Which explains why we are now playing catch-up to the Asians and Indians. When prior to 1979 we played catch-up to no one.
FDR’s New Deal failed. LBJ’s Great Society failed. And made the economy a mess in the Seventies. Liberalism was debunked in the Eighties. Thanks to Ronald Reagan. But thanks to the Department of Education, a coordinated assault on our most impressionable was underway. Keeping the spirit of liberalism alive. And the size of government grows. Because they lie to our kids. Many of who grow up believing these lies. And vote ‘yes’ to working harder. And paying more taxes. So those in the nobility can live a plush life of luxury.
Perhaps the Time is Right for Another Ronald Reagan before Liberalism Sinks the United States into Third World Status
It is hard to fool smart people. Which explains the Department of Education. Whose goal is not to make our kids smart. But to make them good Democrat voters. So those in government can continue to live like nobility. And prevent another great ogre like Ronald Reagan from rising again and freeing the people from their oppression.
Which has never been more important as those not paying taxes has reached a tipping point. And we no longer have the money to support the nobility. Something has to give. Perhaps the time is right for another Ronald Reagan to rise and free the people once again. Before liberalism sinks the United States into third world status.
